Every week, our drivers head out across Long Island to buy cars from local homeowners, families, and businesses. Some vehicles are headed straight to the scrap yard. Others still have life left in them. Either way, we pay cash on the spot and tow for free.

1992 Nissan Maxima — Levittown, NY


This 1992 Maxima had a good long run — over 30 years on Long Island roads. By the time we got the call, it had been sitting in a driveway in Levittown for a while and wasn't worth putting more money into. We came out, paid cash, and hauled it off to the scrap yard.

Condition: Non-running, end of life
Outcome: Scrapped

2013 Chevrolet Equinox — Bay Shore, NY


The owner of this Equinox in Bay Shore had been dealing with a transmission issue that made repairs cost more than the vehicle was worth. Rather than sink money into it, they gave us a call. We made a fair offer, picked it up same day, and they walked away with cash in hand.

Condition: Transmission failure, non-running
Outcome: Scrapped

2003 & 2002 Dodge Durango — Huntington & West Babylon, NY

We picked up two Dodge Durangos this week — a 2003 out of Huntington and a 2002 from West Babylon. Both were end-of-life vehicles with too many issues to justify repair. Both went to scrap.

Condition: Non-running, high mileage, multiple issues
Outcome: Both scrapped

2011 Subaru Forester — West Babylon, NY

Subarus are known for going the distance, but this 2011 Forester had reached the end of the road. The owner in West Babylon had already bought a new car and just needed the old one gone. We came out, handled the paperwork, and towed it away free of charge.

Condition: High mileage, non-running
Outcome: Scrapped

2007 Toyota Camry — Glen Head, NY

This one still had some life left in it. The 2007 Camry out of Glen Head was running and driving — just racking up high mileage and the owner was ready to move on. We paid a fair price and got it off their hands quickly.

1991 Lincoln Town Car — Commack, NY


You don't see many 1991 Lincoln Town Cars still on the road. This one in Commack was still running and driving — impressive for a 35-year-old vehicle — but the owner had no use for it and wanted it gone. We paid a fair price for a running classic.

2013 Volvo S60 — Wantagh, NY


The standout pickup of the week. The 2013 Volvo S60 out of Wantagh was in very good condition — clean inside and out, runs and drives great — just carrying high mileage. The owner was upgrading and wanted a quick, easy sale. We made a strong offer and had it picked up the same day.
