Cars We Picked Up This Week — July 28, 2026

The week of July 28th kept our drivers busy all across Long Island. We picked up seven vehicles — sedans, a van, an SUV, and even a luxury Mercedes — from Sayville to Brentwood and everywhere in between. Some went straight to scrap, others still had plenty of life left. Either way, every owner got paid cash on the spot and we towed for free.

2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid — Sayville, NY


Hybrid vehicles are becoming more common in our pickups, and this 2014 Fusion Hybrid out of Sayville is a perfect example of why. When a hybrid's battery system starts failing, repair costs can be enormous — often more than the car is worth. That's exactly what happened here. The owner made the smart call and reached out to us instead of sinking money into it. We paid a fair cash price and had it towed away the same day.

Honda Accords are among the most reliable cars ever made, but even they eventually wear out. This 2004 model out of Huntington had over 200,000 miles on it and a transmission that finally gave up. At that age and mileage, a transmission replacement just doesn't make financial sense.
