Cars We Picked Up This Week — July 31, 2026

2006 Ford F-150 — Massapequa, NY


The F-150 is one of the most popular trucks on Long Island, and we buy them all the time. This 2006 out of Massapequa had a rusted-out frame and a blown engine — not worth fixing at this point. The owner had already moved on to a newer truck and just needed this one hauled away. We came out same day, paid cash, and sent it to scrap.

2009 Honda Accord — Hicksville, NY


Honda Accords are workhorses, but even the best cars eventually reach the end of the road. This 2009 model out of Hicksville had a transmission that finally gave out after years of high-mileage driving. The repair estimate came back higher than the car's value, so the owner called us instead.

2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee — Deer Park, NY

The Grand Cherokee is a tough SUV, but this 2004 out of Deer Park had seen better days. Multiple mechanical issues had piled up — engine problems, suspension wear, and electrical gremlins. The owner had been nursing it along for too long and finally decided enough was enough.

2008 Pontiac G6 — Valley Stream, NY

Pontiac stopped making cars in 2010, which means parts are getting harder to find. This 2008 G6 out of Valley Stream had a head gasket failure and finding a mechanic willing to work on it at a reasonable price was nearly impossible. Rather than chase down parts, the owner called us.

This one still had plenty of life left in it. The 2010 Highlander out of Rockville Centre was running and driving well — just carrying high mileage after years of family use. The owner was upgrading to a newer model and wanted a quick, hassle-free sale.

2005 Cadillac DeVille — Hempstead, NY


The DeVille is a classic piece of American luxury, and this 2005 out of Hempstead was still running — just in fair condition with some age-related wear. The owner had inherited the car and had no use for it. We came out, assessed the condition honestly, and made a fair offer.

The standout of the week. This 2014 Sonata out of Bethpage was in genuinely good condition — clean interior, no major body damage, and running strong. The only knock was high mileage, but Hyundai Sonatas are known for going the distance. The owner was upgrading and didn't want the hassle of a private sale.
